Where Technology, Creativity and Altered States Converge

Dear Cyberdelic Society,

As we continue to navigate the intersections of consciousness, technology, and art, we bring you another month of cyberdelic exploration, exciting new events, funding opportunities and insightful information in this space.

Let's get started with a recap of our latest events:

Games Ground Berlin

In November 2024, we made our second appearance at a Games Ground Berlin.

This time their crew doubled down on XR and created a whole area called "the XR dungeon”

A perfect context with strong cyberpunk aesthetics.

This vibrant community of indie game developers welcomed us with open arms and upgraded the playground area to explore a large menu of cyberdelic experiences.

Our menu included:

Apart from the epic lineup of experiences we were also granted the opportunity to give 2 presentations at the Cage Stage.

  • Jose Montemayor Alba spoke on Reimagining Reality: Gaming as a Catalyst for Personal Growth, where he explored Infinite Game Theory and gaming’s potential to foster empathy, creativity, and transformative thinking.
  • Edo Fouilloux dynamic talk, “Can Building Games and Worlds Feel Like Jamming in a Garage Band?” showcased how collaborative creation and sandbox gaming are reshaping the landscape of interactive fun.

He gave a live multiplayer demo showcasing the power of Patch World.

If you haven't tried Patch World yet we highly recommend you try it, it's next level.

Overall, we were super impressed and happy to see how this Berlin based grass roots indie dev movement is growing by the year and we feel extremely grateful to be part of it.

Cyberdelic Showcase Berlin & CSB Branch Inauguration: A New Chapter Begins

The week after Games Ground, we hosted a groundbreaking Cyberdelic Showcase at Cambridge Innovation Campus Berlin, uniting pioneers in AI, XR, and consciousness exploration.

The evening featured a thought-provoking panel discussion with thought leaders from Immersia Labs, Sensiks, Cyberdelic Nexus, Museum of Consciousness and Dreamseed VR.

Followed by a collaborative Think Tank lead by Bradley C. Royes focused on developing Berlin's cyberdelic culture through a month-long Cyberdelic City residency program.

Visitors experienced an array of immersive installations including EEG-powered art, sound frequency body massage, consciousness-expanding VR experiences, AI-generated digital art, and a non-alcoholic nootropics bar with an AI bartender.

The showcase also planted the seeds for the Cyberdelic Society Berlin Branch initiative led by Mars Vertigo and Bradley C Royes.

This expansion of our global network brings exciting new possibilities for us to prove that Cyberdelic Societies can successfully branch around the world.

If you are interested in opening a Cyberdelic Society branch in your city, please reach out to us.

Big thanks to our partners at this showcase Aethos, SEKS Design, The Y Berlin, and the entire Cyberdelic Society crew for making this event possible.
